Terms of Service

Last updated November 6, 2026

By using Micmo (micmo.app), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Micmo.

Using Micmo

You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Keep your account password safe, and only share room passwords with people you want in your room.

Rooms

Anyone with a room's password can join it. Everyone in a room can add, sort, play and skip songs. Room names appear on a public list, so do not put private information in them. Rooms close after about 10 hours with nobody in them.

YouTube content

Songs on Micmo are YouTube videos played through the YouTube embedded player. Micmo uses YouTube API Services, and by using Micmo you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Micmo does not own these videos, and YouTube or its uploaders may change or remove them at any time. Access to YouTube videos through Micmo is free.

Acceptable use

Do not use Micmo to break the law, harass people, post offensive names, get around passwords or security, overload the service, or copy, download or misuse content. We may remove rooms or accounts that break these rules.

Paid features

Micmo has no paid features today. We may add optional paid features later, and will explain their terms first. Access to YouTube videos will not require payment.

No warranty

Micmo is provided "as is". Songs, search and rooms may sometimes be unavailable, including when YouTube limits are reached, and room data can be lost.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Micmo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

Ending your use

You can stop using Micmo at any time. To delete your account, email hello@micmo.app.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Questions? Email hello@micmo.app.
