Privacy Policy

Last updated November 6, 2026

Micmo (micmo.app) is a private karaoke web app run by an individual developer. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

How we use it

We use this information to run Micmo: to sign you in, save your favorites, run rooms and queues, show who is in a room, keep the service secure and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and browser storage

Micmo uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in, for up to 30 days. It also keeps a room access token in your browser so you can return to a room without its password. The embedded YouTube player may set its own cookies and collect information under Google's policies.

YouTube API Services

Micmo uses YouTube API Services to search for videos and plays them in the YouTube embedded player. By using Micmo, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Your use of YouTube content is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

Micmo does not ask you to sign in with YouTube or connect your Google account, and it cannot access your YouTube account.

Who we share it with

We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Advertising

Micmo does not show its own ads today. If we add them, we will update this policy first, including any advertising partners and cookies.

Your choices and rights

You can use Micmo without an account. To access, correct or delete your account data, email hello@micmo.app. You may have other rights depending on where you live.

Children

Micmo is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Questions? Email hello@micmo.app.
